Finally got my scope last night! leupold vxii 6-18X40. can't wait to get it all mounted on my gun and tried out. Unfortunately it looks like last weekend of really nice weather for a while, so i may have to wait a while before i can really test it. :( |

I'm a happy boy today, yesterday one of our other bartenders got fired and I picked up her shifts, as well as the other other bartender is going outta town next week so I get lotsa extra cash! now i just gotta decide what to spend the money on.. getting a better scope for my new rifle, or new parts for the bike.. |

well.. first weekend of deer camp is done. got a decent sized doe in my freezer. deer season is getting kinda boring lately. silly doe, literally walked up and stopped broadside to me about 10 feet away. This was about 7:15 wednesday morning. left an impressive exit wound tho. i'm thinking maybe i should go into the deer processing business. i talked to the guy who does mine, asked him how business was. He said "it was a slow day, we only processed 18." 18. minimum charge is $65, and that's with no extras. that means on a slow day, the guy makes almost $1,200. so if he's doing that 6 days a week, for 3 months.. damn. |

well, tore down the engine on the cb450 this weekend. little bit of rust in there, but the bottom end is freed up and moving. gonna try putting it back together and see if it fires up. hopefully it'll run.

just got the damn thing about a month ago and now it won't start. *sigh* waiting to see if the owner of the dealership backs up the managers "tough shit" stance or if he wants to consider the fact that we just bought 2 vehicles from them last month and both are having problems and fix one- or am i gonna get all the local media to mention how little they care about their customers after they get their money. |

lifes too fucking hectic. in the last month i've had my jeep totalled, pictures taken for both kids, my bike die on me, my wife start working, party for my older daughter, mini- vacation, party for my cousins younger daughter, labour day family thing, doing work on the house, and now town festival is here- which means i'm on call for the bar all weekend, plus having a garage sale because i'm a block from down town and half the people coming to the festival park on my street. *UGH* at least hunting season starts soon. hopefully i'll be able to get out for that and relax. |

ugh. life hates me. found the problem with my bike, my advance mechanism decided to give up. opened the points cover and a bunch of little pieces fell out at me. got a chewed up cam, little chunks missing out of the points plate, and large chunks missing out of the advance. guess i'm gonna need to rebuild the top end AGAIN. |
